The past semester two students associated with the Viticulture and Enology program completed their Master’s degrees.  Youri Joh, a student of Dr. McGlynn, had a study entitled “Quantification of Quality Attributes, Functional Compounds, and Antioxidant Capacity of Blackberry and Blackberry Wines”.  The other student, Sandy Peterson, a student of Dr. Edralin Lucas, had a study titled “Anti-inflammatory properties of Oklahoma grapes”.  We are proud of their accomplishments and hope to have many more students in the future.  When I get a chance I will post abstracts of their results on the OSU grape website.
